Joan’s mother separated from her husband and she struggled to look after her children. She heard of the opportunity to serve at Zee Foundation Orphanage and having successfully completed her screening and training, Joan and her brother, Derrick, joined their mother in their new home. Joan helps mama with chores like cooking alongside her siblings. She loves to sing and dance with friends in her free time. Joan is now receiving education and especially enjoys studying English. Her dream is to be a doctor.
